Entry Requirements
The Rally is open to pilots (with at least a Sport Pilot license) of single and multi-engine piston aircraft with a minimum range of 400 miles. Student pilots may participate as pilots if they are accompanied by an appropriately rated flight instructor. Copilots/navigators need not be licensed, nor even a pilot, to participate.
The registration deadline is Friday, May 22. However, if you are ordering a t-shirt, please submit your entry by May 15th so we can get your shirt order to our vendor.

The Craneman Rally Entry Sponsorship
One of our long-time Rally participants has generously funded a sponsorship to cover the crew entry fees for a limited number of first time CFI/student teams.
Applying is simple: Just check the appropriate box on page 3 and note your flight school affiliation, if any. Do not pay any fees until contacted by the Rally Committee. Please submit your entry form by May 15th for consideration.
The award of this sponsorship is at the sole discretion of the Rally Committee.
2026 Entry Fees
The entry fee includes the pilot and co-pilot entry, Aerospace Museum admission, awards banquet, access to the hospitality suite, and all the flying fun you can handle.
The entry fees for the 2026 Rally are listed below.

If you pay the entry fees online, you MUST still send in your completed entry form.
Hotels
Participants are responsible for making and paying for their own hotel reservations - this is not included in the Rally entry fees.
Hayward, CA (Friday night)
If you need a hotel in Hayward, we suggest the Hayward Home2Suites (510) 783-0825.
They are offering a group discount rate of $134/nt with a 1-day cancellation policy using the Group Code "HAR" or through this direct booking link. (Book by May 10)
The hotel is within reasonable walking distance to the rally parking area at Hayward Airport. Transportation to/from the hotel will be provided upon request.
Sacramento, CA (Saturday night)
Our hospitality suite will be at the Lions Gate Hotel adjacent to McClellan Airfield, Sacramento.For those wishing to stay overnight after the banquet, we have negotiated discounted rates ranging from $185/night for a single queen to $250/nightfor a 2 bedroom suite (all prices plus tax). We will provide transportation between the hotel, FBO, and museum.

The Registration Kit is a PDF file. If you don't already have it, you can get the free Adobe Reader from the Adobe website..
- This year's registration form contains fillable fields. You'll be able to fill in most of the form electronically and save a copy before printing.
- The completed and signed form can be scanned and emailed to the Race Registrar , and payment submitted via Zelle® or PayPal using the online payment page. Alternatively, the completed form and payment can be mailed to the address listed in the registration packet.
- If you pay the entry fees online, you MUST still send in your completed entry form via email or snail mail.
