Entry Information
Entry Requirements
The Rally is open to pilots (with at least a Sport Pilot license) of single and multi-engine piston aircraft with a minimum range of 400 miles. Student pilots may participate as pilots if they are accompanied by an appropriately rated flight instructor, otherwise there are no restrictions placed on students. Copilots/navigators need not be licensed, nor even a pilot, to participate.
2012 Fee Schedule
The entry fees for the June 2012 Rally are listed below.
The basic entry fee includes the pilot and co-pilot entry, the awards banquet, access to the hospitality suite, and all the flying fun you can handle. There are additional charges for extra passengers. The Rally entry fees are as follows:

Hotels
Participants are responsible for making and paying for their own hotel reservations - this is not included in the Rally entry fees.
If you need a hotel in Hayward, we suggest the La Quinta. It is just around the corner near the entrance to the Hayward Airport, and is within reasonable walking distance to the rally parking area of the ramp. The special rate at La qunita is $79 per night. In Bend, OR the Rally Committee has reserved a block of rooms at a special rate (king or two doubles); each participant must contact the hotel to secure and pay for the number of rooms they need. You will be free to stay at other hotels as well. The host hotel is the Shilo Inn Suites Hotel, their phone numbers are 541-389-9600 and 800-222-2244. The special rate at The Shilo Inn is $94 per night
You must make your Bend hotel reservations before May 1, 2012. After that, the special rate is no longer available and the standard rack rate will apply. When making your reservation, please tell the hotel that you are part of the Hayward Air Rally group to obtain the special room rate.

The entry form asks for certain information about the airplane to be flown in the Rally . If you are not certain of the correct aircraft designator and equipment suffix for your airplane - the aircraft information entered on an FAA flight plan - check the following links:
